Inside the Fall Box!

This collection is really special because each piece is from a female-owned and operated small business and represents a woman with the grit and grace that it takes to balance a business with a whole lot of #reallife and motherhood mixed in (did I mention they are all mamas as well?!). Their dedication to excellence had me thinking about the Proverbs 31 woman in the Bible. I love the verse "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." While at first glance it seems like she has her life all together, I'm not so sure that's true. It says she is clothed with strength and dignity... meaning she has to consciously choose to put on those attributes each day. And what happens when she does? She is able to move forward with joy. Not because she knows the future (none of us do!) but because she knows Who holds it. She puts on the Holy Spirit's power and doesn't try to muster up her own. So no matter what this next season has in store for you, I pray this box of goodies (and all the amazing women who had a part in creating it) inspires you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, put on His strength and grace daily, and step forward with a smile.

OLIVE KNIT SWING SHAWL // ELEGANTEES

Elegantees aims to fight human trafficking through employment opportunities in Nepal, India, and New York City. All of their clothing is made ethically, most by women who have overcome much hardship. By providing a positive source of income that reinforces independence and a confidence that restores lives, the chances that these women will be trafficked again are slim-to-none. I've had the chance to work with Elegantees' founder, Katie, and model a few of their new clothing lines over the last couple of years, which is why I am so excited to have this amazing Swing Shawl in the Fall Box! It's a great piece when you need to add a layer to tanks, graphic tees, or dresses this season. I love that it can be dressed up or down too!

Spiffy & Splendid is a woman-owned jewelry company located in Fishers, Indiana. They are operated by a husband-and-wife duo, along with a team of local women who need flexible, work-from-home opportunities. Their mission is to handcraft joy-filled pieces that are unique, high-quality, and at a great price point. They specialize in fun and trendy styles to make every woman feel spiffy and splendid! All of their earrings are lightweight and designed for those with sensitive ears, so I think you are going to love these oversized hoops! Did you know that earrings the size of a quarter or larger make you appear ten pounds lighter?! Sign me up!

GOLD & BIRCH BRACELET STACK // EPP & CO

Jessica, founder of Epp & Co, is a wife and mom of four, building her modern jewelry business in between nap times and carpool lines! Her passion for jewelry design evolved into Epp & Co during a challenging time. She loves to remind people that hard seasons are never wasted and beauty may come in the form of a piece of jewelry and in the heart work that happens along the way. Epp & Co has also given back to various organizations that give hope to women by providing for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This bracelet stack was one of the first products I had my sights set on for the Fall Box, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

RATTAN EARRING HOLDER // FIDDLES & FERN

Fiddles & Fern was founded by Michelle Berry after an experience with postpartum depression in the midst of the beginning of COVID, having a newborn and toddler at home, teaching remotely, and needing a creative outlet to find herself again. She now works part-time as an elementary school teacher, part-time as a creative digital artist, and full-time as a tired momma. Along with her courses that help digital artists turn their designs into products, she also has a really cool Etsy shop where she sells some of her own designs and handmade creations. Because earrings are my favorite accessory and I often include them in my seasonal boxes, I thought it would be the perfect time to get you a new earring display holder! It's the perfect size to hang in your closet for storing all of your everyday earrings and a few seasonal favorites in a stylish way, yet right at your fingertips.
