A Look Inside the Summer Box!
In case you haven’t heard… I started a brand new business, since the closure of my previous company at the end of last year. What I do now is create seasonal surprise boxes of gathered goods from existing small businesses, many of which support good causes… These styled boxes are SO fun! First, the inspiration…

This gathering of goodies is all about slowing down and finding rest. Think reading on the beach with the warmth of the sun on your face and your favorite icy, cold beverage in hand (you may have a new favorite once you try what’s included in this box)! The burdens and stresses of everyday life washing away with the waves… Living life light and free.
My goal for this box is to encourage you to let go and learn new unforced rhythms of grace as you savor every bit of that sweet summer sunshine. Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside!
FREELY & LIGHTLY // EMILY LEX
Emily Lex is a watercolor artist, longtime blogger, and author. In whatever she does, Emily’s desire is to shine a light on the beauty, goodness, and truth all around us so that we might see more clearly who God is and who we are. When I first read her book, I knew within just a few pages that it needed to be the theme of the summer box. After sharing the vision with her publishing company, Harvest House, they were so excited to be a part of this project that they even threw in an exclusive watercolor print from Emily... just for those who pre-ordered the box!
SUNSHINE BASEBALL HAT // SIMPLY STATED
Kristin, owner of Simply Stated, is a dear friend of mine and local maker in West Michigan who started her business in 2008 when she wanted to create items for her kids. Her business has expanded greatly since then, and now she designs and ships products all over the USA. We had a blast dreaming up this fun hat together as an exclusive to the summer box!
WINE & CRAFT COCKTAIL MIX // LUSH
Lush is a line of organic mixes that create deliciously refreshing wine slushies & craft cocktails. Simply mix with any bottle of wine (or club soda for an alcohol-free version!), freeze, and serve. I'm so excited to be working with this women-and-sister-in-law-owned company that also donates to help families struggling with hunger through local and international charities, with each package purchased. Each summer box includes one of their top-selling summertime favorites: Frose, Sangria, or Strawberry Basil Lemonade… I have sampled them all and can say with 100% certainty that they are all amazing. MACRAME EARRINGS // LOOPS & TASSELS
Abby, owner of Loops & Tassels, is another friend of mine and local macra-maker in the West Michigan area. She is incredibly talented and designs macrame and wood goods for your everyday life! I'm so thankful for her partnership in creating these exclusive earrings for us. They've got boho, beachy vibes written all over them! I also love that she donates a portion of sales to Kids Food Basket, helping hungry kiddos in our local community.
CURVED BAR NECKLACE // WORLD FINDS
WorldFinds is a design-driven brand of jewelry and accessories that empowers women through fair trade. These handmade necklaces create dignified work for their artisan partners in India and support education projects to provide impact in their communities.
