#1 DENIM SHORTS
From a classic rise and wash to more vintage and distressed, denim shorts are HOT, HOT, HOT in this summertime season. My favorite pairs include these (under $25!) and something very similar to these (love the button fly detail)! Do you have a favorite pair of shorts or place where you love to get your denim?
#2 DRESSES
I know we talked about it this spring as well, but the trend has only gotten even bigger this summer! I love how dresses can be worn far more casually now than ever before. You don't need a special occasion to wear one! An everyday t-shirt dress like this one or this one are so easy to style with some simple jewelry and sandals.
#3 SWIMSUITS
Swimwear has become so much more of a personal fashion statement rather than special clothing you wear to get wet. And while it seems to be harder and harder to find modest, supportive, and full coverage suits over the last few years, I've had some very good luck at Target lately. How cute is this one (pictured)?!
#4 SANDALS
From the classic flip flop to a more sophisticated wedge, sandals of all shapes and sizes are huge this summer. Have you seen these double buckle slides all over social media lately? I haven't snagged a pair myself yet, but they sure look comfy! I have been living in these and these as my go-to for styled outfits, as well as my Tevas for the pool or beach (I've been wearing these for YEARS).
#5 AMERICANA
Red, white, and blue isn't just for 4th of July! You can wear this combo all summer long with the classic Americana vibes. Get ready for pool parties, camping, and the Summer Olympics in your USA gear! Old Navy has always done this trend so well. Click here to shop their current collection!
